To be given approval to sell a2 platinum formula in the US market until November 2022 would be a short term sugar hit, maybe we could jag $30 -$40 million NZD in sales.
The real upside is if A2 mngt and the FDA ( with help from NZ govt) can negotiate a longer term supply access deal and get the 17.5% Tariff waived so our products would be competitive with local infant formulas.
This would give A2 a real diversification from the Chinese market and provide serious scope to develop their US business including adding adult milk powders.
