cloud seeding....I do not know the answer...however when I researched same a couple of years ago...california was at the forefront...they have been doing same for over 40 years... the cost to have a square metre of water on the ground one foot in depth was about 20 cents with cloud seeding... to obtain the same with desalination plants was 1900.00 guess which option the Vic govt took...the most expensive..
I believe China did the rain seeding about 2 years ago with success... I am not aware if any australian states or feds have looked into this...or if they have, they opted for the desals....which tells me the lobbyists, and their crony mates were successful....ie go for the most expensive...money for their mates.....or scare off the taxpayer....as is their usual' do nothing' stance
