The concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is about 400 PPM [Parts Per Million], i.e. 0.0004 or 0.04 per cent [per hundred parts] (IPCC). Plant life becomes stressed and dies where CO2 is is under 200 PPM.

Tracked over hundreds of thousands of years, CO2 has varied greatly without any influence from mankind.

A room full of people breathing and exhaling, or people travelling inside a car have significantly higher amounts of CO2 than 400 PPM, to no ill effects. The 8hr threshold limit value for industrial work in USA was 5,000ppm and has been increased to 10,000ppm.

CO2 is essential for life through oxygen [O2] generation by photosynthesis, with trees and plants absorbing the Carbon [‘C’] for their own growth, and releasing the Oxygen [‘O2’}.

Only 3% of that figure is man made i.e, 3/100 of that, or 0.000012, which is 0.0012%. (IPCC) This includes the huge percentages of global CO2 emitted by China, India, Russia, and other countries.

The 97% remainder is created in Nature from many sources: volcanoes, erosion of rock containing CO2, release from the oceans and subterranean sources, etc. (IPCC)

Australia’s contribution to that is 1.3 % (IPCC) of the aforementioned “3%” = 1.3 HUNDREDTHS of 0.000012, which is 0.000000156 or 0.0000156%.

Of that, ~1/3 is from electricity generation; 1/3 from mining and agriculture, and 1/3 from transport [cars, trucks, rail, planes, etc].

Less than 2/100,000th’s of 1%... And this is the premise on which they wish to destroy our economy!

And, it’s about 1/10th of that considering the change from what the Greens consider the norm, i.e. 300 ppm approx. historical high (IPCC) to 400 ppm, and of that, the Greens and Labor want Australia to reduce CO2 by about 50% (if not more eg Greens want 100% reduction!)

So....the whole “green” argument is about less than 2 Millionths of 1%, of CO2 in the atmosphere.

If Australia had a population of 50 million people, ie approx. twice what it is now , its like saying one individual person is responsible for all our contribution to global warming and we are going to give that person billions of dollars to go away. (mind you Labor and the Greens won’t tell us how many billions) The overall notion is ludicrous. It is nonsense.

BTW, Australia is a “Net Carbon Sink”, meaning that due to its huge size and small population, it actually absorbs more CO2 than it produces... The hysteria is statistical manipulation based on "per capita" [per person] production in a heavily agricultural, resource, and mining-based economy.

A FRAUD. A SCAM. NO BENEFIT. A COST THEY CAN'T EVEN CALCULATE.
