Nolan, that's why the payout ratio I've used is 80%.
For the hundredth time: of the remaining 20% profit, 10% gets distributed to FFI; and the other 10% is retained by FMG to fund ongoing exploration, Iron Bridge, etc etc etc
NOTE: with the 62% Fe iron ore price at USD$144 today (FMG receive approx 85-90% of this spot price for our lower grade ore) and with only 3 weeks left in this Jan-Jun half year period, I stand by my dividend estimate of AUD$1.20 a share.
