I think they bought AUL to bail out a prominent shareholder! You the one with the reef that failed to return a profit in 2 years until depletion named after him.
It was his only chance to retrieve all those millions he had chucked at Woods Point.
Never forget that the day the merger was voted through an AUL 1/4 came out showing a 3+ mil loss and VA staring them in the face. How they got away with it with no questions from authorities but with the help of serial rampers like Catalyst driven and wack is beyond me.
BTW where are those guys, surely they weren't just pip traders or paid rampers, lol?
