Just re-read this release and the product to Hyundai is NdPr oxide. Interesting. This would appear to be a departure from ARU's ?preferred sales strategy where it sells NdPr metal (toll processed) to the automotive OEM. Perhaps this deal has broad links with ASM's proposed metal production facility in Korea, with the production of NdPr metal/magnet alloy using ARU's oxide still to be negotiated between ASM and Hyundai?

Total speculation at this point, but ARU's announcement could also (eventually) be a positive outcome for ASM.
