I would have assumed you'd have run a business at some stage, but it seems not with that comment.
at that rate of expenditure, it certainly does affect the balance sheet - substantially.
a balance sheet should not be looked at just as a current snapshot.
current assets and currently liabilities reflect cash balance/receivables and expenditure rate/payables on the balance at any point in time.
total relevant.
