Thanks for sharing MS. I for one, who has had the pleasure of reading your posts over a number of years, appreciates the telling of your experiences wrapped in an amazing writing style that makes us come back for more.

To the doubters. All of us have a story. Most not that interesting. Some have lived a life many cannot imagine. Doesn’t mean it’s BS. I’m sure if I told my story I would be accused by many of BS.

Many years ago I crashed my first pride and joy, a 1976 Toyota Corona. After rolling 3 times, the car came to a stop upside down. Prairie grass was in my face which was protruding through the smashed front windscreen. My mate next to me said “where are my smokes”. The Danish Horticulturist hitchhiker was nowhere to be seen. After untangling ourselves from seat belts, we exited the wreckage to find the Dane standing outside. He had been tossed out of the back window. A gash above his eye the only injury. I stood on the side of the road waiting for some traffic. Toyota wrecks and boiling diesels. Steam in 45 degrees. In the distance, I saw a bus and car approaching. I flagged them down. Being a boy from the bush, I had no idea who was in that Bus and Car but I wondered if I was hallucinating from the crash and heat.

Our saviors were Carlotta and the Les Girls on tour.

Now is that all BS.
