Dont expect world shattering news, Karoon have estimated, in the event of a succesful appraisal program, 1st LNG sales to market by 2015.The immediate area around Karoon's Permits contain 32 tcf these fields are owned by Woodside/Inpex joint v. Karoons' mid case estimate is 7 tcf in their P fields, it would take another 6 mths for further volumes to be added to this unles we have some other unexpected outcomes from the current production test. DeGolyer have estimated 7.6 tcf as their high estimate. As Following P2 it has been reported they move TLS-s rig to Lion 1 with little chance of success, Why drill it ?. Then onto Kronos- 1 which has high hopes followed by one more mystery well? My guess is P2 to perform above testing expectation in next 3/52, Kar to make the Mystery well, P3 in close vicinity next to go. Possibly even back to P1 for a Prod test.Perspective wise, it is interesting to note Mr hoskings advice, that Exson sale to Petro China of 2.25 tcf over 20 years for US50b. Nice numbers if Karoon still hold the company down the track.
