Just to be treated with a bit of respect would be nice... a communication something along the lines of:
Dear Shareholder,
Please be advised that due to [a, b, c etc] the Announcement regarding the BFS for the Minim Martap has been delayed.
At this juncture we are unable to advise the date of the release of the BFS, but rest assured we are taking [x, y, z] action/s.

Simple. An email would do, as communicating the above would no doubt bankrupt the company.
