Firstly, I'm a (man made) climate warming agnostic. However, for the smog and acid rain alone (experienced in Bangkok) I believe we should try to reduce CO2 from the air where possible. At what expense? I'll let others decide.
But back to global warming -- mini ice age. If, as some evidence suggests, we are entering a mini ice age cycle, that in itself does not necessarily exclude man made global warming.
We may going through a natural warming - cooling cycle, but as in a bull market, the warming & cooling temps may be progressively higher because of global emissions. Further research is needed. And if that is so, which is preferable? A less cold ice age and higher warming one or a more cold less warm. Which does more damage, warming or cold. The cold has killed many people in Europe, warm extends malaria etc.
