Wow, five consecutive drops to kiss a strong lower down trend line to close on a tiny cushion of air.

Chart wise this feels like a flux moment for the DOW.

Tonight must surely be either a big relief rally or a horrifying dive depending on whether the Fed announces a 0.5% or 0.75% rate rise and whether Powell swivels to Hawke Talk or hints at something potentially, possibly, maybe softly doveish?

Maybe but maybe if the Fed truly confuses investors tonight, the DOW may consolidate near the current level whilst waiting for more economic news.

I have no idea which way I’ll pin at this stage.
