Yes, MSB has raised a lot of money over the past two decades with not a lot to show for it except a bit of hope from failed trials.
The true believers quickly switches from claiming the interest Novartis is showing validates their investment hopes because it is a huge reputable company with deep expertise, to Novartis are apparently run by a bunch numpties who have no idea.
The 180 degree pivot is done so effortlessly it is truly breathtaking. No matter what happens everyone is wrong, use facts when it suits you and ignore it when it doesn’t. This is what they call “DYOR”.
