Yes agreed that things will change for sure. I myself have got solar panels for home power and am not against renewables BUT it is a mistake to over rely on them. I have a relative just back from over 10 years in Germany which have gone big time in renewables but are suffering now because of this very fact that they have not had the base power of fossil or nuclear power as say France has had and Frances power is umpteen times cheaper than Germany. Here in NZ Labour has gone for the big green new deal but we are importing cheap Indonesian coal at the highest levels in many years to run our Huntly coal fired power station so that we don't get black outs and to run more EV's.....What a croc
And that said, Australia is some what different to Texas and Germany in that you don't have the extremes in weather so that is a little more favourable there as far as that goes.
But yes, we do hope that we make big bucks out of NWE, it's been a long time coming.
