Pleased to advise the Tony Keating replied very quickly to following query.

This does make a difference - as after the statisticians have done their stuff, should, show that case A is 86.3% or case B is 72% - Pfizer could argue that the resulting data 'failed' the test, whilst RAP can argue it 'passed' the test.

I have seen quite a large contract fall over on this very subject...... wording was something like '10% less', where the intention was 10% percentage points less.

As company secretary, I seek your clarification regarding announcement today on the ASX: the value of the current Pfizer takeover is based upon :-

“the Data Confirmatory Study shows that the COVID Algorithm performs with sensitivity at a minimum of, and no less than 6% below, the 92% sensitivity reported in the March Results and specificity at a minimum of, and no less than 9% below, the 80% specificity reported in the March Results”

However this is very vague.

Now are we talking about 6% less in case A - ie 86% - or 6% less than 92% which is 86.5%

and in case B is this 71% or 9% less than 80% - which is 72.8%

Sorrythat it wasn’t clearly worded.

Forsensitivity it is greater than 86%. For specificity it is greater than 71%.
