The Uranium ban was lifted in 2013 by the GoG

Mute Bourup Egede from 2016-2018 was the Minister for Mineral Resources
Its focus was developing its Oil and Gas Reserves but had no plans to issue further licences.
The Countries focuses being on renewable energy. at the time it only has a Ruby Mine...

At that time Kavefjeld was pending approvals which it passed to get us to 2021 and this stage....

Yes IA are against Uranium......

But to be clear on this point GML/Kavefjeld has been developing a RareEarth Mine which contains Uranium.....with the backing of the Greenland Government since 2007...
The issue is that the GoG has breached the agreement...ACT 20 is now quite rightly being challenged by GML as it was implemented outside of GML terms of agreement.

Up to this point Greenland has made no progress on any other projects and kavefjeld significant resources ranked 3 in the world. remains the only one at White Paper......

Your comments about the Negative views are also incorrect as it has not been properly tested and the population have been misled on various important issues. 40% of eligible voters did not vote and there is a large disparity between those in work and those not....with 40% of eligible workers working for the Government....

As I said previously Greenland has many many issues and challenges facing it that cannot be easily solved by stopping everything.. My previous comments about all those difficult issues remain.....and look like worsening in the short and medium term...
