    Wow, the labor zealots have just stepped in to comment, couple of them nothing more than a leftist rant, one of them though has put forward a reasonable thought out defense of the "short term subsidies" for fossil fuel power generation. My guess though is this "short term subsidy arrangement" will out of necessity end up extending to the next federal election ( and maybe beyond) because like it or not, even assuming additional renewables capacity, this energy deficit is not going away anytime soon.
