That vol spike was the third largest in the stocks history. It barely moved the needle which makes me think it was a crosstrade. An ann usually follows but not always. If it were legit buying volume then that would not be a good sign - high volume and no price appreciation tends to signal a whale is absorbing the buyers - this scenario is more easily illustrated at tops obviously.
Realistically I think this base is going to build out for a while yet - but it does lend encouragement to PNV being a possible leader in the next cycle. It's most always those that base early in a recession and carry a market out of one.
