No I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is who will be paying for the 15% WI whilst arbitration is running?
Yes it was painful and very long and is the reason why I'm trying to get some here to do some research on what/how long arbitration takes.
The similarities are there.
FAR believed their pre eptive rights had been trampled yet arbitration found there were no pre emptive rights in a share sale....even though the JV clearly stated there were pe rights.
Both French based and both in ICC Paris.
The relevance has zero to do with it in reality.
ICC arbitration takes years not weeks or months.
I have no doubt AVZ will trade. FAR and WPL traded whilst in arbitration but the project in Senegal was put in to a holding pattern for over 2 years and FID only came once WPL knew the decision of arbitration.

I don't see two years(your time estimate) here, and you must remember this is a fairly clear cut hearing.., hence AVZ will continue to progress the mine..

The ICC arbitrator:
1. Zijin, Why did you commence this agreement without the presence of AVZ?
2. Zijin, Why have you not paid your full deposit?
3. Zijin, Why have you not settled?
4. Zijin, Why was this 15% purchase not disclosed on the HK stock exchange?
5. Zijin, why have you been so secretive on this deal?
6. Zijin, Have you played ANY part in this project to date - monetary / decision making?
7. Zijin, Why have you acted fraudulently?
8. AVZ, Show us the mining agreement, and the rights to 15%
9. AVZ, Show us the IGF report :O !
10. AVZ, Just show us the work you and your shareholders have done over the past 5 years, how this is going to benefit the local community, and your interactions during these times with Zijin....

Summary.
Zijin, why are your pants around your ankles. Goodbye.
AVZ you can now raise your damages claim. Step in DRC to rid Zijin's of other mining activities in the DRC
