With Cu spot price below assumption price in Restart Study, I'm sure it's making finance more challenging. That in addition to potential economic headwinds, which would likely put downward prices on metals ('Dr Copper' ), may make financing terms less favourable. Given the cost of diesel and labour, I wonder if it would have been a reasonable option to do the refurb of SX-EW and retreat existing heaps first (17Mt @ 0.5% = 85 kt Cu, 3 yrs production). After 3 years start pre-stripping and get into mining...
