Bot is short for robot, computer software which is used to set up automatic buys/sells of regular amounts and at regular intervals, there used normally to either buy low and sell high, or it will be on the sell side and try to trigger stop loses, and then buy in for cheap. There are many other reasons as well.
I have only seen bots on the sell side this is the first company ive seen where the bot has been buying, so i am unsure to where it will lead...
