Hi *****, No, we don’t believe different strains of Covid are responsible. Different strains would affect the sensitivity (which is the % of Covid-19 positive cases we get correct) not the specificity (which is the % of Covid-19 negative cases we get correct) which is where we see the biggest difference. Yes, we use the Breathe Easy data in the training of the Covid-19 algorithm, which should of helped with specificity. It’s unclear how long algorithm refinement will take as we don’t know the root cause yet. But we now have more than doubled our dataset, so we have plenty of data to work with. Moving forward we will need further data and studies. Validation data like this dataset, plus also data from studies setup to provide data for regulatory submissions.


Hey Tony, just had questions about the confirmatory test results.
Does Resapp believe the different strains of Covid are responsible for the varied results compared to the first set done.
And also does the stand alone Covid 19 algorithm bring in factors from the Breathe Easy study to bring the specificity back up.
Or does that have to remain separate to the covid algorithm. If there were to be further refining, is there a ball park figure of how long this might take. And will us shareholders be informed of this before another confirmatory study is done.
