Past returns are not indicative of future growth.
It is well documented that most investors pile into 'growth' companies (and real estate) when the price is already close to (or past) the peak due to FOMO. Even Warren Buffett has admitted that he ignored Apple and Amazon until they almost peaked.
Past history show the CSL price falls during downturns (2008-12, 2020-22) and has spectacular growth during booms (2006-8, 2014-19).
