This podcast discussion is about Sweden's role in the green energy transition. The creation of a battery hub / industry in Northern Sweden is talked about extensively. Northvolt is talked about at length and their desire to produce the 'greenest' credentialled batteries in the world by chasing the green bonafides up the chain to their suppliers. I don’t see how they are going to do this without using Talga’s product long term. Even if the Chinese can work out how to clean up their filthy, emission heavy synthetic graphite industry, the shipping alone adds an incredible amount onto the co2 scale. If you are sourcing your battery materials from another continent you will simply never be able to make the claims Northvolt are striving to make. Elon Musk is famous by now for saying ‘the batteries need to be made close to where the cars are going to be built’

If this post is not relevant to Talga then I don’t know what is. But it was obviously reported and instantly moderated on my first attempt for being ‘off topic’, although granted I didn’t take the time to write this introduction. It just shows you how hard some little minions are working on trying to suppress sentiment. Anyway I still have my order in lower down, in case someone really does a big tax loss dump and so I'm working against my own interests here again.. I just can’t help it.
