    can't see how that could be -- you are looking at two power sources - not one

    you are also looking at needing normal transmission for the fossil - whereas in a pure EV - you can ditch it all.

    I'm looking a couple of Hybrids - which would run 99% of their life on pure electric - then, only for the longer trips - over about 100 km - be on liquid fuel.

    it's very convenient - but, no way would it ever be cheaper than pure EV I don't think. No would it be around forever -

    it's just a lovely mix for the time
