How does no one else here see the obvious reason for the CEO resigning? Dude was sitting on millions of dollars worth of shares, at the beginning of a global recession. He knew that the market cap would eventually crash down to earth in this market. He probably just didn't want to be the one to navigate the company through several years of adverse market conditions, and would rather take his millions and run for the hills. Occam's razor in action.
