@Margaret63 - you are a sweetheart - I am sure you are beautiful, too - and as for teenage girls, or rather pre-teenage girls, they are all beautiful - so are children. At least it seems like that to me now, that I am old, or should I say 'older'!
I have been invited to a concert at the Perth Concert Hall, - this Monday evening - where the former school (Churchlands - Specialist Music School) of my two younger daughters - are holding a 60-year celebration and are also celebrating all their former music students who 'made it' - hence I am invited as the mother of one such student. I am flattered, look forward to it, but am also worried that I won't be able to contain my emotions. Apparently each parent of a successful former student will be given a bunch of flowers - and feted in other ways - probably just drinks and nibbles at the Concert House bar. I might go to the hairdressers and have my hair cut for the occasion. go well Taurisk
