Some storms last what seem like ages,
some storms blow over quickly.
But ,By their nature,always transient.

We used to own a house on the side of hill a few k from the sea
when storms came we would flick off the lights and sit back and watch it roll by. The energy in a storm is breathtaking!
if you have a good position to take advantage and view it in comfort it can be stimulating
If you’re stuck out in the ocean ,in the middle of it well then, it is just plain terrifying . Zero option but to attempt to ride it out.

Storms always pass.. They are by nature unsustainable and transitory.

I bought in at around .50c in 2016
Watched a proper oversupply storm that seemed to last forever
Watching another one now
Back in 2016 I was experiencing the storm in a tinny in the middle of the ocean.
6 years later watching this one from a much better vantage point
Adding to stash as much as possible and at all different entry points . When the dividends eventually roll out it’s about how many you have ,not so much about a few cents variation in the purchase price (imo)

Learning to deal with the market is like managing a difficult child..Self centred,reactive ,sensitive and unpredictable. I’ve learnt in the last 6 years that the market is not rational or
predictable or very adult
The forces of greed and fear steer it,
its not for everyone

I for one have learned a lot
my kids have learned too
Patiece is the big lesson for me

lm not clever enough to trade and pick the highs and lows
I’ve got just enough brains to buy and hold for the long term
keeps me sane , might just make us wealthy
