Saudi Arabia & Norway (now great US friends) nationalised their oil/gas resources in the early 1970s and look at them now!
At that time Gough was dreaming about "buying back the farm".....not nationalise it !
Its interesting that the CIA INC knocked off Gough then but did not lay a finger on Saudi Arabia or Norway even though we had backed Uncle Sam to the hilt in Vietnam !
