a) vaccines were up to prevention pre-omicron. as I've posted earlier omicron was unable to be detected by either natural immune response, either re-infection or initial infection, just like vaccine immunisation. you know this well so why spin it?
b) yes NSW state govt failed to exercise lockdowns early enough to prevent delta from spreading. not much effort at all to prevent omicron spread.... pretty pathetic really. NSW govt actions had often only paid lip service to medical advice. Qld managed far better.
c) vaccine targets were set way too low for adequate control without lockdowns. more hasty decisions made in many govts determined to appease those who were rioting or protesting.

have we ever had a govt that everyone was happy with? Lib and Lab are often disapproved of by those in Opposition.

we need, imo only, to work toward a parliament of independents.
