Just an on-looker here as I have interest in biotechs, curious as to why the results were only done with a 1 sided test with a false probability of 0.10.
Aren’t these tests usually done as a two sided test with a p value of 0.05 to test for stat significance?
The top line of the announcement has (80% 2-sided CI: 0.368, 0.930) - which i think means if the data was on done on a two sided test the results aren’t as good as they would be on a 1 sided test.
I’m not a stats guru and aren’t trying to downplay the results, I have no skin in the game - just curious if anyone can tell me why the trial was set up like so?
