    Where abouts on the GC.

I know a little about the GC market having bought in Currumbin Waters a coupla years back.

$300k now worth about 400k...so not bad but the rent retunr has been great.

Just a very ave 3 bedder to be honest

I also like labrador, decent size blocks, close to uni amenities etc.

As for you buying to live in, im a little less up to date but im sure youll find a nice place.

just dont let those RE agents boss you around.

before looking to buy, make sure you have finance pre approved with your broker/bank first.

Gives you much better chnace to secure a place at the price u want due to no finance clauses.

And if you can kep the purchase under 80% LVR noi LMI costs...which can be expensive.

Althought here are a couple of non bank lendrs that will give you up to 85% without LMI......however the rates are higher.

So with your 65k dep id try look for property under the 310k mark.

    Good luck with it all.
