oh dear - did you take that as an insult. I know very well how machinery of government works and a pretty good understanding of the interplay between various parts of our economic system. It is actually quite fascinating to me that people who endlessly defended our previous government seem to think that the legacy problems should be instantaneously fixed by the new government. Maybe if you think I was insulting you, you do understand that problems of the scale you are talking about have not appeared overnight and that many of them - aged care, cost of living, wages, price of energy have been a long time in the making. In which case maybe you could be charitable and grown up enough to allow the current government time to sort it.
maybe you do understand the way a cabinet works, and the interface between the government and the public service. maybe you do understand how budgets work and policy changes work. maybe you do understand complexity. and maybe you are just so addicted and rusted on to the liberals that you cant allow these details to get in the way.
