Dividends will be negligible and blamed on tough market conditions, rising input costs, wages, blah, blah!

EVN salaries for a large portion of their staff are heavily weighted toward attractive performance incentives, and in the current tight labour market they will want to minimise the risk of losing people so healthy incentive payments will be maintained - even where company performance doesn't warrant it! Payments occur in July - where is the money going to come from? Forget your big dividend - it won't be any better than the pathetic $0.03 last time around and the company was performing better - IMHO folks.
