Could that suggest that one of our instos (as evidenced by the HFT that was most pronounced earlier in the week) is closing out a hedged position, NL? Or anyone for that matter who holds a subsubstantial position hedged against volatility which happened to have occurred to the downside... sitting on profit ready to deploy it by either topping up at this level or awaiting an opportunity to use the funds in another way.???
PS: I noticed that there wasn't the pronounced HFT today or yesterday. Hopefully they will be back tomorrow.
