21 jan - drilling update, page-17

Did anyone actually download and save a copy of the pdf prior to today's update?

The reason I ask is that I had a look this morning before the update and I feel pretty certain that the depths of the lithologies down the right hand side have changed. I think the Cadnaowie Formation has been shown extending further down than the original prognosis and also that the first layer of coal has been increased in thickness.

I could of course be just imaganing this but if not then that would mean that the thickness of coal has been updated to reflect the results of the coring and indicates a 30m (approx) seam at 610m.

By the way, increased speed of drilling compared to the predicted path (which was actually slower in this well than the last) is not an indication of "rushing to catch up with the program". It is a natural progression for the drill crew who are now on their second successive well, may be encountering larger seams of coal (softer material and quicker to drill through) and may simply be enjoying a good run of equipment serviceability compared to both the last drill and the conservative pre-drill estimate.

    Cheers
