Seems Mr Fine has been involved with the company since 2002.

"In November 2002, Unilife signed a consultancy agreement with Carpe DM, Inc. and its President Mr Ed Fine to be its exclusive representative in the US to arrange direct sales, strategic alliances, partnerships, manufacturing agreements, royalty agreements and any other agreements that would result in sales, revenue and gross receipts outside the harm reduction industry. "

On the same page:

"Unilife has agreed in principle to issue to Mr Fine 3,000,000 options at an exercise price of AUD$0.33 per Unilife share. "

Guess he's gone and exercised those :-) Anyway, seems he's been with the company a long time and probably contributed quite a lot over time - and no doubt will be contributing more. Looks like he's done alright though, good on him.
