Gold will bottom around 700-750, USD will strengthen significantly from here, YEN will get flushed down the toilet, same with Euro, gold in AUD terms will suffer the twin evils of rising USD and falling gold price, gold equities will get knocked out of the park, be ready to by when things looks lost :)

If GFC 2 gets here pre June, its likely to have its gensis in Europe or Japan and domino across the world, taking the USD to much higher levels as the safehaven .

I know that sounds crazy and I am no USA cheerleader, the problem is everyones looking in the wrong direction , Japan and Europe are much worse than the US, more money printing more debt than even the US, in a global meltdown the safehaven is the country with the most aircraft carriers.
