Well why bring NATO into it? Just say what you mean then? If you think this is a proxy US way just say it, it's a US war against Russia, simples. There are many voices within NATO.

I'm sure they have considered it but to what benefit? Create a wasteland for yourself? Seems like a strange vision doesn't it? Nuke your neighbour to take them over, gain all that prime agricultural land and in the process contaminant the whole area.
If Vlad is to go down this path, of nuking his neighbour, it shows he is the lunatic many think he is. A scared little man, struggling for relevance in a modern world. He will send Russia back into a cold dark place. He cares not for his people, He cares only about his image. That is not NATO's or the US' fault.
