Communication has mostly been poor so I would not expect that to change.
Commsec or other brokers will not be able to move/transfer restricted shares. First thing that needs to happen is to get Vstock to remove restricted shares to unrestricted status. That involves the process that has been mentioned above which involves the company. Poorly explained process and I think that is not necessarily all Vstock's issue but spread between the company and Vstock. Seems like the company does not want a lot of shares coming onto the market at once so they are effectively controlling the process by being vague and using administrative processes to slow the process down.
I was told that the company will be providing a 'blanket opinion' which will allow Vstock Transfer to release the restriction on our GMVD shares. They have yet to do that as of this date according to Vstock. Guess a year was not long enough to allow the company to do this on the release from escrow date being 29 Jul 2022 US time.
