Gold is more soluable than most believe and complexes with chlorides in salty groundwaters, natural peisometric pumping brings it to the surface and speards it along the natural water table so you end up with a large mushroom shaped remobilised secondary low grade "halo" of laterite gold overlying a depletion zone 10's of metres below in turn overlying the unweathered source in the fresh bedrock. Assuming an insitu profile of course. This is terminator all over - classic West Aussie laterite gold play, good money to be made in the easy to mine lowgrade laterite gold, even better money if the source at depth can be pinned down and turns out to be large. Don't be folled by the depletion zone and drill a little deeper.
But it is still the massive nickel sulphides at Rosie that should be getting everyone excited.
