Paul, you know the early days of the war was an attempted quick regime change which did not come off. Now they are holding a 22% which is Ukraine's industrial heart. That will now become part of the breakaway republics IMO. That alone will rip the engine from Ukraine's economy, leaving a very weak landlocked country in need of aid for many years to come. The Ukraine will never gain back what they have lost IMO. Such a shame considering this could have been easily avoided with a simple declaration of neutrality.
