Do we have a new definition of a bubble? From what I've read we must have.

A rise of less than 400% over 10 years from a 20 year low is not a bubble, except for the New Bubble definition believers.

The real bubble we have is in US dollars and other paper currencies. Creating "stimulus" - wealth and growth from thin air - backed by absolutely nothing.

The amount of US dollars being printed has skyrocketed over the last 20 years, over the last 10 years, over the last 5 years.

But the paper bugs don't want you to undertstand this, nor to understand there must be consequences. You are given all sorts of obfuscations to confuse the issue, to try and make you not understand what is after all a very simple concept.

So the paper bugs invent stories about bubbles in commodities and gold, instead of telling you the real bubble is in the US dollar.

You cannot print unlimited amounts of US dollars without consequences. You also cannot withdraw many of these dollars looking for a home )and it sure isn't going to be in US paper like bonds) when vast amounts have been transferred to the financial elite through bailouts of financials etc. so the financial elite could collect their winnings 100 cents in the dollar.

We are now at the stage where, despite all the MOPE about an improving economy, Main Street in the USA is going to be bailed out with billions and billions of printed paper dollars to try and get a recovery in employment, with real unemployment currently well over 20% according to shadowstats.com (There are mid term elections this year.)

Remember the US internet bubble? Remember the US property bubble? Everyone was being told it was an easy way to become filthy rich. The public participated in the final stages. When we are told this about investing in gold and gold equities then we will be in the final stages.

The gold bull rides a wall of worry and fear. So understandably this will also be reflected by plenty of forum posters regularly telling us that gold is going to collapse.
