Well no one likes to see their portfolio sink, but at least Obamas comments about smashing banks up has set the market off. There is already a lot of skitish talk from analysts regarding overpriced markets, and what we now have is some certainty that things are probably going to cruise sideways and possibly go negative for a while. I hate uncertainty :)

It was good to see the greens come out and propose putting $20/tonne price on Carbon. This shows they are still in the game as they have been completely bloody absent as usual on any major policy changes. Its about time they pulled their socks up, and I now think it is very likely that a scheme of some sort will pass in the next few months.

...which is a good thing for ESG.
