So when STO buys a stake in ESG, but says they have 'no acquisitive intentions'

Have they said this? I can't recall it but they may have.

A while back I did some research to see if STO had taken a large stake in any other companies and game up with zero, they have several farmin agreements and JV's with a couple of other companies like Beach Petroleum, but haven't taken an equity stake in those companies, especially not 20%! ESG (as far as I've been able to determine) is their major equity holding, and a fairly major departure from their previous strategy if they have no acquisitive intentions...
