Zog, lets put the question back to you, can you please tell me, why Heat is not considered a problem with ZSS irrespective of whether they use just 28Si or a mixture of 28Si and 30Si, because from what I read Quantum computing needs a stable temperature environment irrespective of which method they use (see below).
As I pointed out on the weekend SQC have split the technology in two directions, where one is using CMOS technology with control circuits, using wires and transistor control in it, the other uses a novel Microwave system to provide a magnetic control of the spin in the ZSS which is new I believe, but if you think that a controlled heat budget is not required for that either you are sadly mistaken IMHO.
