Definitely lots of shorting activity lately.
The upgrade could be next week but I am expecting it early February. Its worth remembering that both Casey and Lansom are certifiers, and in Lansom's previous job at Origin he was chief petroleum engineer with responsibility for reserves certification and reserves statements. Now although we await the NSIA independent certification ... does anyone really expect that the data that these guys have presented will not result in 1,300 PJ 2P or greater?
According to DC this level of reserves on recent metrics including what Santos paid for gastar's stake and the 20% of ESG makes ESG worth well over $2.00. If only the market would listen!
