...I still have plenty to do and read and of course learn....BUT while I personally do a stack of research, that doesn't mean we ARE going to be successful 100%. There is still risk.
But in all that time I have only come across scares/real possible negatives a handful of times and each and every time they have been quashed one way or the other (from what I ascertain).
If you ask me whether I think the results are good..well from the above bullet points, yes. I think they are. Go through any of my major posts and you will get a sense of why I think that.
In a nutshell what do we compare ourselves to?
Opioids - horrid, addictive, dangerous
NASAID - Terrible, can lead to major gut problems, liver problems and a raft of side effects
Corticosteroids? Terrible, can increase rate of joint failure, do not use these for prolonged period despite the allure of instant pain relief for a few weeks.
Stem Cells - Too new, need clinical trials to prove this and longitudinal studies to check...its hit and miss still, the tech will get better but its a way off. Quite expensive for the moment too.
Granted that for pain relief there isn't a lot one can do and do it safely, I feel sorry for those that have no choice.
Surgery eventually becomes the only option.
With some 75% getting at least 25% efficacy and circa 88% getting some pain relief, to do that safely are results beyond imagination if we get through P3 and there are no serious AE's.
