I've also got to say, I find it incredible that the company would not have been aware of this. They must have been served a notice to their registered address. If they are not careful, ASIC will commence winding up the company.
More media coverage:
https://www.startupdaily.net/topic/cryptocurrency/6bn-nft-gaming-venture-animoca-brands-fined-for-failing-to-lodge-3-years-of-financial-returns-with-asic/I also can't understand how the current Directors of the company can be satisfied with this or indeed our whale shareholders.
What I find interesting is that two documents have been lodged with ASIC in recent weeks:
a) 6/6/22 Notification of Withdrawal of Consent For Registered Office (203W)
b) 2/7/22 Change to Company Details Change of Registered Address (484B)
So it appears that Animoca might not have had a valid registered address at the time of the court proceedings.
