People who have followed AAR over the years know exactly what to expect from management. Slow and steady as she goes. Frustrating for sure.
Also agree that they run it like a private company, because they can.
They've funded themselves and proved up an excellent prospect in KP, started on a possible monster in VD and may well have another gold mine to milk in the mean time.

Like other companies they will pump it up when they need to put their hand out and raise funds. That could happen as soon as next week thru to their presentation at the end of Feb or maybe not. I dont think they would be doing the pres unless they wanted to create interest as in the past they are happy to keep the exposure to a minimum.

My point being that capital raisngs each year from other companies is like pushing the friendship too far, where anglo is the friend that you know their faults but you still like them anyway.

I think the recent decline in sp is just overall market sentiment. I think it went down 7-8% one day from a small $amount of shares. Others could be off loading to buy in elsewhere for short term gains knowing that AAR doesn't move too quick.
The scary part is the thought that people are already preparing for GFC Part2 and moving back to cash or other alternatives. The markets have been turning down lately.

AAR will need cash to proceed. If Feysville isn't much chop then they will be back to 1.8c if GFC2 comes along. No matter how viable any project is,nobody will lend you money.
I'm still not convinced of Feysville.

If you think zinc and especially copper are in for a good 10 years then buy AAR. Treat it like your super fund. The real gains are to be made over the long term.
